Country's largest kidney dialysis hospital, free treatment

    New Delhi. After being closed for 20 years, Bala Sahib Hospital started here. In which Panth Ratan Baba Harbans Singh Ji, the biggest kidney dialysis hospital in the country named after the car service was inaugurated by Baba Bachhan Singh Ji in the premises of Gurdwara Bala Sahib. This hospital will operate 24 hours. Before the formal inauguration, Gurdi Ghani Ranjit Singh Ji, Head Granthi of Gurdwara Bangla Sahib performed the Ardas.

    Giving information about this project Manjinder Singh Sirsa and S.S. Harmeet Singh Kalka said that this entire Sikh community is a proud occasion for the Delhi Gurdwara Committee especially because it worked in a planned manner to build and start the biggest hospital in the country. He informed that in this hospital, dialysis of 101 patients can be done at a time and dialysis of 500 patients can be done daily and soon the capacity will be increased to 1000 beds.

     He said that another realization is that all services will be provided free of cost in this technically advanced hospital. There will be no billing or payment counter in the hospital. Apart from this, the patients and the people accompanying them will be shown the anchor of the Guru.

    He said that the Delhi Gurdwara Committee would run this hospital with the benefit of corporate social responsibility (CSR) from the big corporate houses, the contribution of the gentlemen who contributed for such projects and the government schemes. There will be no money for the treatment of any patient and the renowned doctors of the country, who are already in the field of dialysis, will manage this kidney dialysis hospital.

    C. Sirsa and S.C. Kalka said that even though the Delhi Gurdwara Committee which is an organization of Sikh community is the owner of this project, this hospital is open to every section of the society and any patient can come and get his dialysis done. He said that the Delhi Gurdwara Committee works according to the principle of 'One Father X's Ham Barik', the path indicated by Guru Sahiban.

     It is worth mentioning here that Giani Harpreet Singh, Jathedar of Shri Akal Takht Sahib visited this project and after reviewing said that he was feeling proud that Delhi Gurdwara Committee which is the institution of Sikh community is the biggest kidney dialysis in the country. Hospital is going to start Jathedar praised the initiative of starting the cheapest MRI, CT Scan, Ultra Sound and other medical facilities at the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib campus at Guru Harikrishna Polyclinic. Giani Harpreet Singh asked others to take inspiration from this and establish such medical facilities in Gurdwara Sahiban campus. Today, Giani Ranjit Singh Jathedar Takht Shri Patna Sahib praised the efforts being made by the Delhi Gurdwara Committee.

     On this occasion, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait said that we had been watching this building for 20 years and were surprised that Sikhs never leave the work they start. Last evening, when we came to know that the largest dialysis hospital is opening here, that too where all treatment will be free, we were very happy. He said that only Sikh community can do such work. He said that when Mahindra Singh Tikait agitated, he used to say that the langar is found in the Gurudwara Sahiban, but the langar is also very important in the movement.

    C. Sirsa and S.C. Kalka said that we had promised to start Bala Sahib Hospital and in the first phase we have started Kidney Dialysis Hospital. He said that the purpose of the Delhi Gurdwara Committee is to provide security and access to medical facilities on the basis of its new ideas and both these projects are a direct example of this. He said that in this era of expensive medical treatment, it is the need of the hour to provide medical facilities in the reach of all and Delhi Gurdwara Committee is working towards achieving this objective.

    On this occasion Takht Shri Patna Sahib's Jathedar Giani Ranjit Singh ji, Delhi Gurdwara Committee Chairman S.P. Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Jathedar Avtar Singh Hitt, General Secretary, Takht Patna Sahib Manager Committee. Harmeet Singh Kalka, senior leader Kuldeep Singh Bhogle, senior vice president Ranjit Kaur and other office bearers, along with farmer leaders Rakesh Tikait, Rajindra Singh Chattha and other dignitaries were present in large numbers.
